Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have ended their engagement, a source told Us Weekly.

They pair met in 2004 and two years later announced plans to wed.  “The relationship had run its course,” an insider said. “It’s completely amicable, and they are remaining friends.”  Fox, 22, is known for her role in “Transformers,” while Green, 35, has starred on TV’s “Beverly Hills, 90210″ and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.”  The source close to the former couple told Us Weekly they are both “focusing on their careers” at the moment.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have baby number two on the way.  “People” magazine reports they are expecting a sibling for daughterHarlow Winter Kate Madden, who turned one last month.  On his band’s website, Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden wrote, quote, “I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister!  God has truly blessed my family.  Hope [you're] all feeling as good as I am right now!”  Last year, Nicole told “People”  that her life has changed dramatically since becoming a mother.  Infamous for her partying ways with pal Paris Hilton, Richie, the daughter of singer Lionel Richie, told the mag that having a daughter, quote, “gives life a whole new meaning.”

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s twins celebrated their first birthday in style this past weekend.  According to “People” magazine, they held a big bash for one-year-old Max and Emme Saturday at their home in Bel Air, California.  Among the 50 people in attendance were Nicole Richie and Joel Madden with their one-year-old daughter Harlow.  Lopez and Anthony filled the backyard of their house with moonbouncers, balloons and a clown to entertain the guests.  Max and Emme were born on February 22nd, 2008.  “People” magazine reportedly paid six-million dollars for the first photos of the newborns, which debuted in the magazine last March. 

Michael Jackson is in talks to sign a $214.5 million deal to stage 30 concerts in London.  His last major tour was in 1996, and his most recent album, Invincible, was released eight years ago in 2001. He has become a virtual recluse since he was cleared of child abuse allegations in 2005.

Reports in October suggested he would hit the road this year for a major world tour.  And he is set to sign up for a mammoth stint at London’s O2 Arena in July, which could net him $7.15 million per show.  A source says, his last chance to hit the jackpot so he can pay a large slice of his debts. Michael feels enough time has passed for the public to forgive the scandals.  A spokeswoman for his agents, the Outside Organization, adds, “It is only at discussion stage but if it comes off it will be amazing.”

Miley Cyrus doesn’t like to admit it, but she’s bothered by people who think that she and her dad, singer Billy Ray Cyrus, are “too close or too cuddly.”  She writes in her memoir, “Miles to Go,” that negative reactions to her bond with her father hurt her feelings. She finds nothing “weird” about their relationship and believes some people are simply “full of anger, hatred and bitterness.”  The Associated Press purchased an early copy of the book, which will be published next month by Disney.  She writes…. “The media has said some stuff about my dad and me being too close and too cuddly for a father and a daughter. For me and my dad it’s not weird at all. we don’t let other people tell us what expressions we’re supposed to have on our faces when we take a picture together!”
